Join us for a University-wide event designed to showcase innovative technology to students interested in learning how large companies leverage entrepreneurial thinking to develop cutting-edge solutions to their customers.

Explore. Interactive technology displays 

Preview cutting-edge technologies and prototypes from companies and Penn state graduate and undergraduate students and learn how such innovations are redefining products and services of the future. Highlights include:

  • Verizon Powerful Answers award-winning technology including the 2014 award winner, Sesame, the touch-free smartphone designed for people with disabilities
  • 3D printing—prosthetic limbs
  • 3D printing— assembly line technology
  • An autonomous, programmable humanoid robot (Nao)
  • Blippar 3D technology
  • Arm movement to speech technology


Learn. iTalks on cutting-edge innovation
Modeled after the popular TED Talk format, these 20-minute iTalks will educate students about current projects, highlight new innovative technologies, and provide advice to students regarding the skills that companies desire in their new hires.

Do. Idea labs
Technology Preferences of Today's College Demographic in Consuming Media—ARRIS will be facilitating a multiple-session focus group on the college student demographic and their habits and preferences in consuming media. The half hour focus groups are scheduled for 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm.  Students can sign up at the registration table outside of Heritage Hall.
